Manzanita branch pieces, dyed bamboo yarn

Golden crocheted branches adorn the walls as if growing in and out from one wall to the other, activating the space in this clients' home. Using my hand-dyed bamboo yarn, I stitch directly onto each piece, adjusting to the forms as I go, leaving branch tips unclothed. My aim was to both interrupt the rectangular lines of the living space and to mimic the soft curvature of the archway by modeling the natural essence of branches.
