How we think about our natural world is central to my work. Using my own special golden threads to hand crochet wrappings around found natural objects, like rocks, branches, shells, and bones, I explore the fragility of nature.
As bandage or cozy, I make bee blankets, tree sweaters, patches for broken eggshells, and fill empty spaces in mollusk shells. Smoothing over their imperfections, I aim to nurture and protect them by making them whole again.
